Orlando Bipolar Disorder or Manic Depression Hypnotherapy
Approximately 20.9 million American adults, or about 9.5 percent of the U.S. population age 18 and older will have a mood disorder in a given year. The median age of onset for mood disorders is 30 years. Depressive disorders often co-occur with anxiety disorders and substance abuse. The group of symptoms that is classified as Bipolar disorder or manic depression affects approximately 5.7 million American adults, or about 2.6 percent of the population according to the National Institute of Mental Health. This does not account for the large number of people who either go undiagnosed or have other forms of depression without the manic episodes of elation. For most people, hypnotherapy is able to continually help in managing and alleviating these debilitating symptoms without resorting to drugs.
Hypnotherapy has the ability to relax both mind and body and create a stabilized way of thinking and feeling. Our hypnotherapist customizes each client’s hypnotherapy program for their individual level of bipolar disorder symptoms. Because hypnotherapy has such a powerful impact on moods and behaviors for most people, those previously diagnosed with bipolar disorder or manic depression tend to respond extremely well to this therapy.
During the hypnotherapy sessions the psychological and emotional issues surrounding the bipolar symptoms will be addressed and alleviated by identifying their original cause event(s) (Initial Sensitizing Event or ISE). The triggers that lead to a manic or depressive state of mind are the root cause of bipolar symptoms, but through hypnotherapy an individual will experienced a more balanced, calm, and productive state of mind that lasts indefinitely. After just two sessions of this unique hypnotherapy program, symptoms of manic depression should be lessened dramatically without a prescription intervention.
By restructuring the thought processes controlling the emotions and behaviors associated with them, the subconscious mind will be taught to cope with the events that were impossible to deal with originally which led to the extreme highs and extreme lows. Coping is an important part of resolving emotional pain. This will happen without having to relive the events that caused the symptoms. Through hypnosis, this will also come naturally without extra thought or effort.
