During an interview, Orlando Hypnosis Clinic‘s hypnotherapist, Danny Jackson, CHT, outlined his work and why he does it.
Why did you start your Orlando business in hypnosis?
“From an early age I have always had an interest in hypnosis and the power of the human mind to effect dramatic and instant changes in peoples’ lives. As my career evolved my desire to help people led me into a career in counseling. Specifically I helped people with the issues of anger management, substance abuse, and parenting. Having already become fairly comfortable with hypnosis, I decided it was time to invest the time and effort to becoming a certified hypnotist. Afterwards, I spent the next several years helping people using hypnosis and hypnotherapy as a primary modality.”
What makes you different than other hypnotists or similar businesses in the Orlando community?
“As a Certified Hypnotist / Hypnotherapist, Counselor, and EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy) practitioner, I have spent the majority of the past 10 years working with clients suffering from addiction and dependence on a variety of substances of abuse. I have had the good fortune to work with several Mental Health Professionals over the years, and to help their clients through hypnosis & hypnotherapy in areas as diverse as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress syndrome, ADD / ADHD, and schizophrenia to name a few. This has provided me with tools, experience, and insights most hypnotists are never able to experience.”
Who uses hypnosis and why?
“Many of the clients I have helped make a substantial difference in their lives suffer with mental health issues including depression, panic attacks (anxiety), ADHD / ADD, Bipolar Disorder, and much more. I do tend to get a lot of referrals from the Orlando mental health professional community of which I am grateful, but he the most significant praise I receive comes from the clients themselves once they experience freedom from the negative thoughts and emotions they have been battling for years, sometimes decades.
As far as Orlando Hypnosis Clinic is concerned, I feel its enormous success is from having the latitude to freely use hypnosis and hypnotherapy to focus on one client at a time. These methods allow me to honestly focus on the issues causing turmoil and chaos in a person’s life. Hypnosis methods bypass the the symptoms and allow me to help people resolve the underlying problems fueling such difficulties as depression, anxieties, habitual broken relationships and general unhappiness. Simply put, each client’s success, adds to the clinic’s success, thus offering me the opportunity to reach out and help more people.”
